These sectional site models are my interpretation of separation in the Mission Hill site. The rectangles are in accordance to the height of the shrubbery and trees on the site.
These iterations further explore "seperation" in the site. The models look more into some of the smaller aspects of the site such as density and enclosure which all tie into the idea of seperation.
This project explores the manipulation of light to produce different effects using plaster casts.
This studio course explores conceptual design through a series of elemental architectural exercises. The design studio builds on the strong foundation of the freshman studio sequence as students complete a series of short exercises. Each exercise explores basic spatial, material, structural, and site concepts in the making of architecture. Students develop increasingly complex programmatic and circulatory
solutions while considering site and context as factors in appropriate design responses. They also continue to increase their understanding of basic building systems, materials, structure, and connections.
