Soft Corners and Intersections: Soft corners allow individuals to see activity, such as people engaged in conversation, climbing stairs, or walking around the corner of a perpendicular corridor.

Door Swings and Corridor Widths: doors that swing out of a corridor and recessed doors prevent collisions with individuals engaged in sign conversations. Wide corridors allow adequate distance between individuals engaged in sign conversation.

Bay Windows and Eddies: Bay windows allow individuals to see from multiple vantage points to the outside. Bay windows are also eddies, which enable individuals to pause and converse outside a busy corridor.
